I was brought up with a heart for mission and with this passion Life Changing
Ministries International was founded in 1996.
"Go ye into all the world and
preach the gospel to every creature. He that
believeth and is baptized shall
be saved; but he that believeth not shall be
damned. And these signs shall
follow them that believe; In my name shall
they cast out devils; they
shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up
serpents; and if they drink any
deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall
lay hands on the sick, and they
shall recover." (Mark 16:15-18)
My father, William Griffiths had understood way back in the 1920’s
the great missions call. Coming out of the Liverpool, England slums
he cycled up to the Keswick Convention whose motto still is “All One
in Christ Jesus”. He is pictured below at Keswick – on the right
as you look – second row clutching Bible!
He responded to the great Mission Call – this response costing many
their lives.
 Full surrender calls to the front were normal during these days. My
father’s response resulted in him standing in a queue at Lime Street
Station, Liverpool. He had no money – he was only a slum boy but God
had called him there. He was under instruction of Almighty God to stand in
the queue for a railway ticket to Swansea. He received a tap on the shoulder! “God
has told me to give you this”, he heard. This was his fare to Swansea.
My father had learnt to be a son of God – led by the Spirit of God – and

 This
is a far cry from what I see today in Britain. A meeting with a Dr.
Cosby and Betty Oliver in U.S.A. (pictured left with Kim Freeborn and
I) brought me into an understanding of the Sons of Zadok. (Click Doctrinal
statement) Sons of Zadok ministered unto the Lord whilst Sons of Eli
minister to each other. My father had ministered to the Lord by being
prepared to die for the Glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ. We need a return
to the full surrender calls today rather than the newly found emphasis on
ministering to each other.
Full surrender calls to the front were part of the ministry of Rees
Howells in Wales. It was to his College my father was now to go. He
trained for the Mission Field here preaching in South Wales chapels
as part of his preparation for Cape Verde Island and Guinea Bissau
Africa. He became part of Rees Howells vision of reaching “every creature” with the
Gospel. Cape Verde Islands are now represented in the Sons of God Network
and we look for contacts in Guinea Bissau. Pastor Dennis of Life Empowerment

1930’s that includes my dad.

Before going out to Africa my father received a letter from his sister Tessie.

 Blessed promise, just think of that day,
when we offer our trophies to Him, for He is worthy, just imagine yourself
standing in the midst of thousands of Africans in Heaven, no more bowing
down to idols but to the One who has redeemed them, and you who was
the signpost pointing the way, Oh Yes! It will be just glorious. I
can see it all clearly. Yes Bill, I dedicate my life again today from
now on for prayer for the pulling down of Satan’s stronghold, let the enemy be mighty, we have our trust
in a MIGHTIER ONE; we will stand together (although miles apart) and resist
him in the name above every name JESUS, Lord and Master, Creator of all things,
I will be constant in prayer, knowing the enemy of souls is powerful where
you are going, but he will have to give way where the Name of Jesus Christ
is spoken abroad. “And If I be lifted up will draw all men unto me”.
Well Bill, you will be lifted up to sit with Him in the heavenlies
when you lift Jesus to the heathen, hang on to the promise – “if I
be lifted up will draw all men unto me”. Lift him up as Moses did to
the Serpent in the Wilderness and the God of Abraham give you boldness to
preach recklessly Christ Jesus and Him crucified ……..

I was brought up in the 1950/60’s in a old tyme holiness Mission Hall
where my father had been Pastor on return from Africa. I remember sinners
coming out to the front weeping over past sins, repenting towards God and
accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. I remember as a little child
the full immersion baptisms with the great splash of glory affecting the
whole Mission Hall. I remember souls coming out to the front in full surrender
to the Wesleyan Entire Sanctification second blessing call. Aintree Gospel
Mission is pictured here and the Sunday School March of Witness featuring
my Mum and “Auntie Ditch” marching.
I long to see these days back! What I see today in Britain is a shadow of
what I have been talking about here. I believe God has brought Africans and
Asians to Britain as the reaping of the sowing of my dad and others to the
Gospel Call. I plead to the large African and Asian churches particularly
in London to come out and save Jezebel affected Britain. Please receive the
heart my dad had for Africa for the Lord is calling you to apostate Britain
to save this nation.
The ancient landmark has been removed and before God can do the new thing – we
have to repair the breach. We do this by restoring the commitment required
to save the lost. To have the dedication required to save the lost requires
us giving honour to the GIVER OF THE GIFTS rather than the gifts themselves,
by giving honour to the SAVIOUR rather than self interest, by giving honour
to the HEALER rather than the healing, to the DELIVERER rather than constantly
seeking ministry. OUR NATION NEEDS TO START EXALTING THE FATHER IN THE NAME
OF JESUS!
The Sons of God Network has been set up by God for this. Restoring the heart
for the lost in Britain is a determination God has given us. Our network
ministries in third world situations need to understand they have so much
to give to Britain. This network spiritually supports you in your commitment
to reach the lost in your land but I believe God may be calling some of you
to save the lost here.
With our network ministries I have witnessed the same dedication to reach
the lost as I saw in my Mission Halls days. To have members risking
their lives to reach the lost is a great joy to me. I see thousands of trophies
being presented to our Lord as a result of this ongoing ministry of
my dad’s.
Carrying on the mantle, receiving the double portion is what we are
moving in so that we can witness the double portion of results my dad received
in Africa.
I believe the double portion is here. Let us now receive this together!
