Sons of God - Alexandrian Theology

God is separating those of the Gnostic Alexandrian belief system from Christians who have chosen to continue with the Received Text - that is those who have stayed faithful to the Bible authorised by King James in 1611.

Having studied the "Find A Church" website for Churches not of the Alexandrian cult, I failed to find one around Liverpool, Chester and North Wales although I know there is a remnant left in these places. There always is at times of apostasy.

The objective of this examination is to prove that the strange events going on in Evangelical-Charismatic-Denominational Pentecostal "Churches" at this time with their Jezebellic tolerance of sin is because the blood bought Word of God is missing from their meetings. The blood bought Word of God only comes through those prepared to give their lives up for the preaching of His Holy Word.

The examination is in four parts. Initially we identify the root of Gnosticism in today's U.K. "Churches". From this root we identify the reason for strange behaviours like tolerance of sexual sin in ministers, congregations sounding off like "cockerels" because God told them to, and we have even had one report of a "Church" giving out Felix cat food to its congregation as a test of faith!!!!!!! An examination of what should be happening follows concluding with the God given solution.

1) The Root of Gnosticism.

By far the majority "Bible" being used by "Churches" today is the NIV. This has its theological roots in Alexandria, Egypt where Clement of Alexandria endeavoured to combine pagan and philosophical perspectives with classical Christian teaching into his School of Theology.

We will prove in this examination that this is happening again today with "multi-faith" Alpha courses and use of "multi-faith" new translations of corrupt manuscripts.

Later coming out of this school came Origen whose work included a bringing together of a theological technique that later became the base for Westcott and Hort to produce a pagan influenced manuscript that ultimately became the base document for the translators of the NIV. The influence of this thinking cannot produce a Bible at all as the real Bible is inspired of God.

Origen: "The God and Father, who holds the universe together, is superior to every being that exists, for he imparts to each one from his own existence that which each one is; the Son, being less than the Father, is superior to rational creatures alone (for he is second to the Father); the Holy Spirit is still less, and dwells within the saints alone. So that in this way the power of the Father is greater than that of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and that of the Son is more than that of the Holy Spirit, and in turn the power of the Holy Spirit exceeds that of every other holy being (Fragment 9 [Koetschau] tr. This is why the NIV declares that Jesus did not regard equality with God something he could grasp whilst the Authorised Version fully recognises Jesus equality. NIV, therefore, has the theology of Alexandria whilst the Received Text has the theology of the Early church. THIS IS A CRUCIAL THEOLOGICAL POINT DISTINGUISHING TRUE CHRISTIANITY FROMnTHE CDOUNTERFEIT AND SO THIS SAME POINT WILL BE REPEATED LATER IN THIS EXAMINATION.

The following information seems to be well documented and not disputed, and if therefore, true we have real evidence to show that with use of the NIV comes a manifestation of pagan signs rather than signs that confirm the Word; Mark 16.

After 193 A.D. Clement became Head of the School of Theology at Alexandria. He had apparently converted into being a Christian who could not leave aside the values and virtues of his education at Athens from whence he came. This philosophical basis became the foundation on which he could bring a sane and balanced approach to the Christian faith. This approach, approach I endured as a student at what was Elim Bible College at Nantwich. This once great institution founded by Principal George Jeffreys once embraced the Authorised Version but is now part of the secular University system that embraces the allegorical approaches of Alexandria.

Returning to Alexandria we find that instead of aiming the "Christian" message at the uneducated like so many Christian ministers, Clement turned his attention to those who would become "Christian thinkers". These thinkers would balance Christian thought with other mystical philosophies like Spiritualism and Theosophy. This is consistent with Westcott and Hort's belief, there being evidence to show that they were members of a psychical society in Cambridge, Westcott and Hort producing their own "original Greek" from corrupted manuscripts we expose in this paper. PROOF FOLLOWS IN THIS EXAMINATION OF THEIR ALEXANDRIAN GNOSTIC THEOLOGICAL BASE FOR THEIR CORRUPTED "ORIGINAL GREEK".

One such group of thinkers was the "Hermetist" group who looked to combine Christian thinking with the spiritual guidance of the Egyptian Thoth or Greek Hermes. The general term to be used for such people was "Gnostic" and Gnosticism is at the root of thinking in the NIV, and Gnosticism (meaning a combination of thought) is exposed in the Alpha Course too.

Egyptian Thoth.

This Egyptian god (note Jesus is a god in NIV) is the god of wisdom and learning who invented writing and was the official scribe of the afterworld. In this belief he wrote The Book of the Dead and travelled around with Ma'at his goddess consort.

Personal Comment: I was led to this god in this Holy Ghost led study and my wife Lindsay during our Church meeting (13 05 07) at Chester recalled seeing a picture of Thoth and the Book of the Dead at Elim Bible College (now known as Regents Theological College, Nantwich) Library during our time there in the early 90's. Why would this be in a "Pentecostal" library we ask? The answer is in this examination.

It is said that he invented the magical arts including the Tarot deck so commonly used today in this new "multi-faith" Britain with its combination of witchcraft and Christianity.

Originally Thoth was a god of creation, and the god of learning. li Jesus in the NIV is presented as being a god as well. In this mythology Thoth was the creator God in Upper Egypt where in Ibis form he laid the world egg! With Clement looking to combine ideologies into Christian thinking there is evidence to show that there is a build up of theology going on at Alexandria alien to the belief structures the Early Church had given their lives for.

Greek Hermes.

The influence of Hermes was considerable in Clement's thinking having come from Athens. In Greek mythology Hermes was a messenger from the gods to the humans and in the new NIV "churches" there has been an obsession over "having words from God" given as a message from one person over the other. This obsession has taken precedence over the preaching of the Word, the Lord confirming this with His signs - not the signs of the gods as in the NIV.

There has also been an obsession with "allowing the Holy Spirit to move" over the preaching of the Word - JESUS BEING THE WORD - but in the NIV - he is not because of the Gnostic influences of Alexandria. In addition to this Hermes is responsible for bringing the art of bringing out "hidden meanings" to scriptures in a passion known in theological institutions as "Hermeneutics". This has resulted in there being a whole minefield of theological opinion dividing the Church from the ancient creeds of belief. The very term "Hermeneutics" is derived from this god. This means that Church ministers are being taught the art of interpreting scripture with the eyes of a Greek god!!!!!!! It's true - check out the syllabuses of theological institutions!!!!!!!

Proof Scripture:

Hermes animal symbols were the rooster and tortoise. In meetings today there are those who feel impelled to sound off like a rooster but what has to be remembered here is that Hermes was also the god of thieves. He was also known as a phallic god of boundaries, with many gods as offspring. These include Pan, the Greek god of nature, shepherds and flocks; Hermaphroditus who was changed into a person with both males and females parts; Priapus through whom Hermes phallic origins survived; Eros or Cupid; Tyche the goddess of luck; Abderus and Autolycus - the Prince of Thieves.

All these gods linked to Hermes represent a mish mash of devilish occupation so prevalent in today's British Church where thieving, immorality and strange rooster noises seem to have taken over from the Church with God's Word in the central place.

Hermesis just one deceiving spirit which can take over an apparent Christian. Rev. Suresh Ramachandran in his studies on the Jezebel spirit discovered a false kind of "loving kindness" in the British Church ". www.sonsofgod.org.uk

Counterfeit love is one of the main manifestations in a meeting where the Word of God is not preached, and I am not talking NIV word which is the doctrine of devils! Any word that changes "God" to a mere "he" is not of Almighty God! We have evidence to show that it is this Jezebellic counterfeit love that is being shown in Alpha courses. This has taken over from agape love which is the blood shedding love of Jesus hat gave his life for us that we should be saved from hell fire. Of course the word "blood" and "hell" are commonly missing in the NIV.

Another example of Alexandrian thinking in the NIV denies God being manifested in the flesh but a mere "he"!

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

NIV - I Tim. 3:16 Beyond all question, the mystery of godliness is great: He^[a] appeared in a body,^[b] was vindicated by the Spirit, was seen by angels, was preached among the nations,
was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory.

Preaching of a Gnostic Word which is often academic and "loving". In direct opposition to the blood bought Word Gnostic devotion produces a playground of devils in which immorality and strange goings on will be rife. Preaching of the real word bring correction and conviction.

Gnostic devils play on the feeling realm and often NIV "Church" members will be moved by physical feelings and sensations. Knowing the distinction between a Word from God and a word from a counterfeit is the key to successful Christian living. Successful Christians study the Word diligently and are not moved by a "sweet voice" or "pleasant" vision as the basis of divine guidance. If your hunger is for the spiritual experience before the Word of God especially when it applies to direction - you are not in the Body of Christ - move!

II Tim. 2: 15Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

16But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.

Acts 17:11These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

II Peter 1: 10Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:

The Gnostic experience "Church" of the NIV develops its experience orientated meetings into a place where interest in the Word and interest in the preaching of the Word declines. There is no respect for Ministers who faithfully preach the Word for the NIV Church member deep in deception has started to move into pride with false words from "God", which really are part of spiritual words linked to combining philosophical, pagan and Christian thinking.

These "words" are often confirmed by others and are akin to direction words in which a believer is taken off track. Prophecy in scripture is for edification, exhortation and comfort.

Following on from these "words" come activities designed to "please" the senses. Within this belief structure is the belief within the individual that they are giving their bodies to God, comments being made like, "I feel compelled to sound like a cockerel!" Twitchings of the nerves, feelings of drafts and sensations of wind flowing on a body are all part of this new Gnostic experience combining paganism with Christianity which is the whole ethos of the NIV. Physical senses and physical manifestations are all part of what the NIV "Church" would call the coming of the Spirit! I have even seen excitement about there being no preaching of the Word! I have even seen reliance on "words from God" awaiting a confirmation in the natural realm. This is known as "putting out a fleece" and is contrary to New Testament practice. God did confirm in the Old Testament in this way but now through the blood of Jesus we have access to the Father which only the High Priest had in the Old Testament on the Day of Atonement. The God of this World is ever waiting to confirm such fleeces from those practicing Gnostic "Christianity" - the combinational of intellectual, pagan and Christian thinking.

In Clement's day the simple folk kept away from such activity and beliefs and the same has happened today. The "simple folk" of the 1930's who embraced Pentecostalism in Britain are now a remnant. They are either concerned "Church" members or apart from the way British Pentecostal denominations have gone. Gnostic teaching has come in at a time when spiritual experience has increased in the country. The combination of these two facts and the removal of the true Word of God from the churches has resulted in a manifestation of devils so great that we are now witnessing sin being manifest amongst ministers at a pace never witnessed in the 1930's.

Clement believed that The Gnostics had something to teach Christians and the Christians had something to teach Gnostics. Gnostic thinking did not relate creation as being by God alone but by a God (not the God) working through agents in the heavenly places. Clement combined this thinking with belief in a Christ who lived in the flesh, acted in history, a Christ who embodied in his teaching all the best of pagan and philosophical thinking, Christ being the figure in which all their thinking could be combined and so therefore be redeemed!!!!!!

I belief that we prove in this paper that this is what is happening in the Alpha Course for this course combines Alexandrian Gnostic philosophy with a form of Christian thinking. This is why Christ Jesus is represented in the NIV as being a son of God, remembering Gnostic thought of there being many agents who brought about creation - not just one! In Alpha you can say the "sinner's prayer" one minute and go and confess your sins to a Catholic Priest the next! This is not right and proves that the "sinners prayer" technique is only one method of salvation.

It is also interesting to note that "the common faith" in the NIV has become "our common faith" which infers that there is more than one faith in relation to Christ Jesus. In another heretical translation (NASB) even "the" Gospel is changed to "an"; Rev. 14:6.

CORRECT A.V.Dan. 3:25He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.

NIV Daniel 3:25 - He said, "Look! I see four men walking around in the fire, unbound and unharmed, and the fourth looks like a son of the gods."

A.V. Titus 1:4 - To Titus, mine own son after the common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour.

NIV Titus 1:4 - To Titus, my true son in our common faith:
Grace and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Savior. (Use of "our" denies exclusivity and omitting "the" questions deity of the Lord Jesus Christ)

The Gnosticism that was growing from Alexandria and other parts of the Mediterranean area in the 2^nd. Century were all closely associated with this new form of "Christianity" that was going to be the base for the "new translations" today. To get to grips as to why we have this new "pagan Church" manifesting with strange goings on, we need to realise that this infiltration combined Christian, Jewish and Pagan thought together developing through Gnostic leaders like Valentius and Marcion.

Another factor in the Alexandrian belief structures applied by Clement to the Alexandrian Theology School that was to birth the thinking behind the coming together of the corrupted manuscripts behind the NIV, was his embracing of the beliefs of Justin Martyr. Martyr is recognised according to the Oxford Dictionary of the Christian Church as reconciling faith and reason believing it would seem that in the Eucharist the bread and wine became the body and blood of Jesus as in Roman Catholic theology. Alpha of course with its lack of teaching on communion allows for this heresy in its course because it is Gnostic in approach.

Faith and Reason seems to have come together in Martyr's logic but the whole idea is completely unscriptural. However, it is this faith and reason that Martyr embraced into his theology which Clement and Tatian embraced. This went onto influence Origen who brought about thinking that ultimately brought about the NIV.

Martyr declared; The Logos is the pre-existent, absolute, personal Reason, and Christ is the embodiment of it, the Logos incarnate. Whatever is rational is Christian, and whatever is Christian is rational. The Logos endowed all men with reason and freedom, which are not lost by the fall. He scattered seeds of truth before his incarnation, not only among the Jews, but also among the Greeks and barbarians, especially among philosophers and poets, who are the prophets of the heathen. Those who lived reasonably and virtuously in obedience to this preparatory light were Christians in fact, though not in name; while those who lived unreasonably were Christless and enemies of Christ. Socrates was a Christian as well as Abraham, though he did not know it.

Peter, however, having received revelation not by flesh and blood was regarded by Christ Jesus as being "The Rock" (yet not Peter - but Christ on earth; Gal. 2:20) on which the Church was to be built. The very same Peter who then resorted to reason suddenly became Satan!

Matthew 16:17 - And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

18And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

19And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Matthew 16:23But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.

On the subject of Jesus equality to the Father we find as in the NIV Martyr regarding Jesus as subordinate to the Father. This is the fundamental difference between the Antioch theology of the Authorised Version and the Egyptian theology of the NIV. The A.V. states Jesus is equal whilst the NIV relates Jesus regarding equality as something he could not grasp! One is right and one is wrong and two very different "churches" come out of this fundamental belief.

Martyr: "We reasonably worship [Jesus Christ], having learned that He is the Son of the true God Himself, and holding Him in the second place, and the prophetic Spirit in the third." ... "The Logos was the second person next to the Father, and was subordinate to the Father. In fact, he was the first creation of God: "The Word . is the first-birth of God." From Justin Martyr - First Apology.

This is the heresy coming through the NIV with its Alexandrian background and we repeat the proof scripture.

CORRECT A.V. Phil. 2:6 - Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

NIV - Phil. 2:6 Who, being in very nature^[a] God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,

A.V. JESUS IS EQUAL

NIV as in Justin Martyr's Apology = JESUS IS NOT EQUAL which is more rational!

Tatian also believed in Jesus being subordinate to the Father and this developed into the heresy of Arius who in Alexandria taught that the Son was created out of nothing.

With Clement embracing these teachings of philosophy that looked to bring rational thinking into the Christian World the man who was to put all this thought into current translation techniques arose. His name was Origen and he either produced or developed manuscripts and theological thinking that would form a base for today's corrupted "Bible" translations and training methods.

We discover in his Christology and theological approaches that many of his methods and beliefs are consistent with present day academic (not God's) thinking. He made no definite statement on the redemptive work of Christ for he saw sin as a lack of pure knowledge, Jesus ministry therefore being one of example rather than sin redemption. This approach is consistent with the present day Alpha course. The passionate desire to see lost souls saved has practically gone from theological institutions that used to send missionaries out all over the World.

With this theological background linked to the manuscripts of Sinaiticus and Vaticanus came Brooke Foss Westcott (1825-1901) who was born at Birmingham and Fenton John Anthony Hort (1828-1892) at Dublin. Using the corrupted manuscripts mentioned they began work on a production to be known as the "original Greek" in 1853. (It is amazing how anyone can be taken in by a production of "original Greek" in the 19^th. Century!) In 1881 they concluded their work having brought together manuscripts found in the Vatican and the monastery at the foot of Mount Sinai called Codex Vaticanus and Codex Sinaiticus. Using the Alexandrian approach to translation they produced what they called the "Original Greek" and following from this came the "Revised Edition" of what they called "The Bible".

It was the first major approach of Lucifer to deceive this modern era of "churches" which he has almost achieved. The Remnant, however, is standing firm, a remnant that is being marginalised from the mainstream of "churches" as it refuses to come all the claws of corrupted manuscripts, infiltrated ecumenical organisations and courses like Alpha.

The doctrines presented in this Luciferian "Bible" were consistent with the Alexandrian thought identified here and a major departure from the truth of the Authorised Version. From their studies Westcott and Hort came to the following conclusions remembering that for the NIV "Church" moving in the spirit will have a very different result than for those Churches proclaiming the blood bought WORD!

FIRST POINT: Westcott was anti-Preacher - common today in NIV "Church": 1846 Oct. 25th - Westcott: "Is there not that in the principles of the "Evangelical" school which must lead to the exaltation of the individual minister, and does not that help to prove their unsoundness? If preaching is the chief means of grace, it must emanate not from the church, but from the preacher, and besides placing him in a false position, it places him in a fearfully dangerous one." (Life, Vol. I, pp.44,45).

SECOND POINT: God's Word seems to change and develop with the time - THE SOCIAL GOSPEL IS KING TODAY in NIV "Churches": Oct., 22nd after Trinity Sunday - Westcott: "Do you not understand the meaning of Theological 'Development'? It is briefly this, that in an early time some doctrine is proposed in a simple or obscure form, or even but darkly hinted at, which in succeeding ages, as the wants of men's minds grow, grows with them - in fact, that Christianity is always progressive in its principles and doctrines" (Life, Vol. I, p.78).

(With the allegorical techniques of Clement - this is perfectly normal to human thinking!)

1861 Apr. 12th - Hort to Westcott: "Also - but this may be cowardice - I have a sort of craving that our text should be cast upon the world before we deal with matters likely to brand us with suspicion. I mean, a text, issued by men already known for what will undoubtedly be treated as dangerous heresy, will have great difficulties in finding its way to regions which it might otherwise hope to reach, and whence it would not be easily banished by subsequent alarms." (Life, Vol.I, p.445).

1862 Apr. 30th, May 1st - Hort: "It seems to be clearly and broadly directed to maintaining that the English clergy are not compelled to maintain the absolute infallibility of the Bible. And, whatever the truth may be, this seems just the liberty required at the present moment, if any living belief is to survive in the land." (Life, Vol.I, p.454).

THIRD POINT: The Roman Catholic Manuscripts brought together by Roman Catholic sympathisers : 1847 Jan., 2nd Sunday after Epiphany - Westcott: "After leaving the monastery we shaped our course to a little oratory...It is very small, with one kneeling-place; and behind a screen was a 'Pieta' the size of life (i.e. a Virgin and dead Christ)...I could not help thinking on the grandeur of the Romish Church, on her zeal even in error, on her earnestness and self-devotion, which we might, with nobler views and a purer end, strive to imitate. Had I been alone I could have knelt there for hours." (Life, Vol.I, p.81).

1848 July 6th - Hort: "One of the things, I think, which shows the falsity of the Evangelical notion of this subject (baptism), is that it is so trim and precise...no deep spiritual truths of the Reason are thus logically harmonious and systematic...the pure Romish view seems to me nearer, and more likely to lead to, the truth than the Evangelical...the fanaticism of the bibliolaters, among whom reading so many 'chapters' seems exactly to correspond to the Romish superstition of telling so many dozen beads on a rosary...still we dare not forsake the Sacraments, or God will forsake us...I am inclined to think that no such state as 'Eden' (I mean the popular notion) ever existed, and that Adam's fall in no degree differed from the fall of each of his descendants" (Life, Vol.I, pp.76-78).

1865 Sept. 27th - Westcott: "I have been trying to recall my impressions of La Salette (a marian shrine). I wish I could see to what forgotten truth Mariolatry bears witness; and how we can practically set forth the teaching of the miracles".

Nov. 17th - Westcott: "As far as I could judge, the 'idea' of La Salette was that of God revealing Himself now, and not in one form but in many." (Life, Vol.I. pp.251,252).

Oct. 17th - Hort: "I have been persuaded for many years that Mary-worship and 'Jesus'-worship have very much in common in their causes and their results." (Life, Vol.II, p.50).

FOURTH POINT: Lack of Faith in relation to Christ Jesus Ministry: Aug. 11th - Westcott: "I never read an account of a miracle (in Scripture?) but I seem instinctively to feel its improbability, and discover some want of evidence in the account of it." (Life, Vol.I, p.52).

.FIFTH POINT: Westcott and Hort were anti-Evangelical - yet their "Bible" is now the majority "Bible" in Evangelical Churches!!!!! 1850 May 12th - Hort: "You ask me about the liberty to be allowed to clergymen in their views of Baptism. For my own part, I would gladly admit to the ministry such as hold Gorham's view, much more such as hold the ordinary confused Evangelical notions" (Life, Vol.I, p.148).

July 31st - Hort: "I spoke of the gloomy prospect, should the Evangelicals carry on their present victory so as to alter the Services." (Life, Vol.I, p.160).

1858 Oct. 21st - Further I agree with them in condemning many leading specific doctrines of the popular theology as, to say the least, containing much superstition and immorality of a very pernmicious kind...The positive doctrines even of the Evangelicals seem to me perverted rather than untrue...There are, I fear, still more serious differences between us on the subject of authority, and especially the authority of the Bible" (Life, Vol.I, p.400).

SIXTH POINT: PRO DARWIN EVOLUTION THEORY - in line with much Evangelical view today! 1860 Apr. 3rd - Hort: "But the book which has most engaged me is Darwin. Whatever may be thought of it, it is a book that one is proud to be contemporary with. I must work out and examine the argument in more detail, but at present my feeling is strong that the theory is unanswerable." (Life, Vol.I, p.416).

1890 Mar. 4th - Westcott: "No one now, I suppose, holds that the first three chapters of Genesis, for example, give a literal history - I could never understand how any one reading them with open eyes could think they did - yet they disclose to us a Gospel. So it is probably elsewhere."

SEVENTH POINT: CHRIST BEARING OUR SINS IS A HERESY ACCORDING TO HORT: Oct. 15th - Hort: "I entirely agree - correcting one word - with what you there say on the Atonement, having for many years believed that "the absolute union of the Christian (or rather, of man) with Christ Himself" is the spiritual truth of which the popular doctrine of substitution is an immoral and material counterfeit...Certainly nothing can be more unscriptural than the modern limiting of Christ's bearing our sins and sufferings to His death; but indeed that is only one aspect of an almost universal heresy." (Life, Vol.I, p.430).

Isaiah 53: 1 - Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?

2For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.

EIGHTH POINT: PROTESTANTISM TEMPORARY ACCORDING TO HORT:1864 Sept. 23rd - Hort: "I believe Coleridge was quite right in saying that Christianity without a substantial Church is vanity and dissolution; and I remember shocking you and Lightfoot not so very long ago by expressing a belief that 'Protestantism' is only parenthetical and temporary. In short, the Irvingite creed (minus the belief in the superior claims of the Irvingite communion) seems to me unassailable in things ecclesiastical." (Life, Vol.II, p.30,31).

NINTH POINT: BLASPHEMERS TOWARDS THE REAL WORD: 1851 Dec. 29,30th - Hort: "I had no idea till the last few weeks of the importance of texts, having read so little Greek Testament, and dragged on with the villainous Textus Receptus. Think of that vile Textus Receptus leaning entirely on late MSS.; it is a blessing there are such early ones" (Life, Vol.I, p.211).

Sept. 29th - Westcott to Hort: "As to our proposed recension of the New Testament text, our object would be, I suppose, to prepare a text for common and general use...With such an end in view, would it not be best to introduce only certain emendations into the received text, and to note in the margin such as seem likely or noticeable - after Griesbach's manner?...I feel most keenly the disgrace of circulating what I feel to be falsified copies of Holy Scripture (a reference to the A.V.?), and am most anxious to provide something to replace them. This cannot be any text resting solely on our own judgment, even if we were not too inexperienced to make one; but it must be supported by a clear and obvious preponderance of evidence. The margin wiil give ample scope for our own ingenuity or principles...my wish would be to leave the popular received text except where it is clearly wrong." (Life, Vol.I, pp.228,229).

May 5th - Westcott to Hort: "at present I find the presumption in favour of the absolute truth - I reject the word infallibility - of Holy Scripture overwhelming." (Life, Vol.I, p.207).

TENTH POINT: Westcott and Hort's new "original Greek" contrary to Nicene Creed: - Hort to Lightfoot: "It is, I think, difficult to measure the weight of acceptance won beforehand for the Revision by the single fact of our welcoming an Unitarian, if only the Company perseveres in its present serious and faithful spirit." (Life, Vol.II, p.140). (Dr. G. Vance Smith, a Unitarian scholar, was a member of the Revision Committee. At Westcott's suggestion, a celebration of Holy Communion was held on June 22nd before the first meeting of the N.T. Revision Company. Dr. Smith communicated but said afterwards that he did not join in reciting the Nicene Creed and did not compromise his principles as a Unitarian. The storm of public indignation which followed almost wrecked the Revision at the outset. At length however Dr. Smith remained on the Committee).

In 1853 Westcott and Hort, now Bishops and active spiritualists began their work to produce a corrupted Greek "original text from evil manuscripts like Vaticanus and Sinaiticus to be taken up later by Dr. Eberhand Nestle who followed on from the efforts of Westcott and Hort in 1898. In 1950 Kurt Aland assumed ownership of this "original Greek" and it is this follow on from Westcott and Hort that is now seen as the base document of all new translations, it having derived through the Alexandrian methods of Clement.

2) The origins of strange behaviours.

NIV "churches" seem obsessed with "allowing the spirit" to come through - the trouble being that it will always be the counterfeit spirit confirming a counterfeit word. We know that those involved in "allowing the spirit" often have a dazed look and talk more of the "experience" than God's Word. Within this context are testimonies of people claiming that they can now do things which they could not do before, but these things will be things of the "sense" realm.

Those affected by this "sense realm spirit" will be angry, critical and unkind and often with a inflated sense of "self." This is completely opposite to the true Holy Ghost who cuts the believer to the heart.

Deceiving spirits thrive in places of "allowing the spirit" where the Word of God has not been preached. People are changed in the way they behave often taking on an appearance of another person. I have witnessed this first hand where "The Grace" is said at the end of such a meeting with false smiles being manifest one to another! An outsider looking in would say that these people are affected and indeed this is correct as they have been lulled to behave in a uniform manner that goes with belonging to a cult. One can tell a house of deceiving spirits for there is an emphasis on ministering to each other in a strange way! This is opposite to my Holy Ghost Mission Hall days when the emphasis was on the ministry of the Word worldwide; Mark 16.

Acts 1:8 - But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Mark 16: 15 - And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

20And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.

With this "move of the spirit" comes a craving for more ministry, for with this submission to "the spirit" comes depression, feelings of heaviness and bitterness towards others. Within this context are testimonies of supernatural visions and manifestations with the believer relying on these more than God's Word. The spirit then has the believer exactly where he wants him or her! The scriptures may be quoted within this context but only as an obscure way of seemingly proving the manifestation to be of God. The true Church emphasises the Word first. The "Church" of the false Word emphasizes the experience and finds scripture to prove it - and of course in the NIV (and all the other modern translations) that Word can be found!

Non-action is another "fruit" of this "allowing the spirit". The true Holy Ghost brings about action but the reaction this deceiving spirit brings is often in the imagination realm and this realm is a place well understood by mediums and the like.

Summary

II Tim. 3:14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;

15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.<

Within this context comes what have become strange goings on in meetings. Frank Bartleman (of the 1906 Azusa Street' Revival) said: "Many are willing to seek `power' from every battery they can lay their hands on, in order to perform miracles... A true `Pentecost' will produce a mighty conviction for sin, a turning to God. False manifestations produce only excitement and wonder... Any work that exalts the Holy Ghost or the `gifts' above Jesus will finally land up in fanaticism."

This work has become a warning of God for the last days in which God is looking to restore HIS WORD to the Church that the World might know that JESUS IS LORD. Instead Lucifer's own word has taken priority in NIV Churches. After all in the NIV he has the same titles as Jesus and so is one of the same.

A.V. Isa. 14: 12How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

NIV II Peter 1:19 - And we have the word of the prophets made more certain, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.

NIV Rev. 22:16 - "I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you^[a] this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star."

Many NIV "Churches" embraced the "Toronto Blessing" and even if this was initially of God we have to bear witness to the fact that even revival can go astray as John Wesley warned: "At the first, revival is true and pure, but after a few weeks watch for counterfeits." http://homepages.ihug.co.nz/~revival/toronto.html Combine spirituality and the Alexandrian Word and inevitably the result will be the same - devils. The following book extract illustrates the dangers of excess, but the reason for it being included here is to show that the true blood bought Word if it was preached would bring the conviction so as to prevent this happening. This extract is from a century-old book by T.W. Caskey, in which he recalls many of the religious happenings in the Southern States of America in the early 1800's. This was the period when many huge `Camp Meetings' were held in the South, accompanied by unusual religious phenomena (which they called `revival'): "Some would fall prostrate and lie helpless for hours at a time... The whole congregation by some inexplicable nervous action would sometimes be thrown into side-splitting convulsions of laughter and when it started, no power could check or control it until it ran its course. At other times the nervous excitement set the muscles to twitching and jerking at a fearful rate and finally settle down to regular, straight-forward dancing. Like the `Holy Laugh' it was simply ungovernable until it ran its course. When a man started laughing, dancing, shouting or jerking, it was impossible for him to stop until exhausted nature broke down in a death-like swoon..." http://homepages.ihug.co.nz/~revival/toronto.html What is significant about current times in Britain with the new translations and "allowing the Holy Spirit" is that repentance preaching has gone. The NIV's removal of "hell" in so many places goes along with this ethos.

If there is no "hell" - then what did Jesus save us from - only the grave? Real preaching involves letting the sinner know where he or she is destined and this can only be done through the Received Text. The lack of repentance preaching in and around the current NIV (and other new translations scene) would most certainly have concerned revivalists like Wesley, Finney and Jonathan Edwards. The falling down in their meetings was a result of the Holy Ghost convicting the sinner of sin, and also in relation to receiving power for ministry.

The widespread use of the Alpha Course which came out of Holy Trinity Brompton has in my view added to the advent of the "allowing the Spirit" culture that has widely taken over from the preaching of the blood bought Word that brought repentance. Use of Alexandrian Bibles and allegorical theology firmly prove my view that there has been a huge conspiracy by Lucifer to take over Evangelical and Pentecostal churches. The course was put together by Curate Nicky Gumbell and is presented as being fully ecumenical. It is widely accepted by the Roman Catholic Church for it embraces its Alexandrian roots.

ii) Talk Two: Historical evidence for the reliability of the "Bible" (which Bible????)

iii) Why did Jesus die? This is one of the crunch areas for sin is presented as something people do rather than emphasizing what people are by nature because of Adam's fall. Gumbell's audience is not informed that by Adam's disobedience all have inherited sin.

Rom. 5:12 - Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

13(For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.

14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.

15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.

16 And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.

17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)

18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

Instead of moving by the blood bought word Gumbell simply asks the followers to say "sorry" for their sin and ask Jesus into their lives. Whilst there is emphasis on the "Holy Spirit", the convicting power of the Spirit is not seen within this course, so therefore, the actual "salvations" have to be in doubt. We need an immediate return to the PREACHING OF GOD'S WORD THROUGH THE "ANOINTING CONVICTING PREACHED WORD" FROM THE BLOOD STAINED PAGES OF THE AUTHORISED VERSION.

No wonder so many Pastors are going astray when all you have to do is say "sorry" each time and all will be alright. This is completely unbiblical as the Minister of the Word of God has to die to the powers of the flesh and move into the blood stained garments of Jesus Christ; Eph. 6.

When the Preacher of the Blood Stained Word does appear, the Alpha converts rise up in anger because they have been Bunyan

"amusingly brought into the Kingdom" by pleasantries and jokes and do not like to be convicted of their sin because they have already "let Jesus into their heart". It simply does not work this way and so the combination of allegorical Gnostic theology, Satanic "Bibles" and being brought into the Kingdom through Alpha with "allowing the spirit" means that all we have today in Pentecostal-Evangelical churches is a playground of evil spirits rather than the old time convicting power of the Holy Ghost. John Bunyan's insight into Vanity Fair absolutely applies to these "playground churches" today.

Instead of allowing the convicting power of the Spirit Gumbell uses today's "nicey nicey" techniques of not wanting to hurt anyone's feelings. This approach almost eliminates the Gospel from the Course even though he does mention sin over thirty times in Talk 3. He mentions sin, however, without mentioning Adam and being born in sin. The "pray a prayer" technique is used without the concept of being saved from hell being explained and the power of the blood of Jesus. Not surprising as the NIV leaves out the blood!

How can anyone be saved in such an atmosphere without the conviction of the Holy Ghost? I remember the atmosphere at Gospel Meetings of the 1950's in Liverpool when souls came out convicted of sin and their lives were changed. Where is the evidence of that phenomenon today?

There may be evidence of saying a prayer with Gumbell's technique but there is no evidence of mass revival, and certainly no evidence of "dying to self" and "leaving the World" in these NIV "churches". This is because the exclusivity of Christ Jesus as being the only way to the Father and a withdrawal from the life of Baal is not emphasized. Instead the NIV and its related theological approaches are the Anostic methods of Alexandria. Gnosticism mixes cultures which means that in Alpha great care is taken not to upset anybody.

Preachers of the "old school" are regarded as "too heavy" and are alienated from the "Churches" stolen by the devil for his Alexandrian Social Gospel. There is no explanation in the Alpha course that good works do not save knowing that part of Alpha's audience believe that christenings, infant baptisms and confessions to a Priest also bring "salvation" and so being "born again" is not the only path of salvation in Alpha.

Lutheran theology of "faith alone" is missing and so thousands of Roman Catholics have embraced the course and in true Gnostic style have managed to combine Roman Catholic Alexandrian theology with the concept of saying a "sinners prayer", "receiving the spirit" and "speaking in tongues". All this goes on whilst still praying rosary prayers to Mary, confessing to a Priest (why is this necessary when you have said the sinners prayer?) and practising the seven Roman sacraments.

Gnosticism is alive today and is well activated in NIV AlphaCourse "churches"!!!! Where is the teaching of the once for all sacrifice? "Once for all" does not fit into Catholic theology for each time they eat the bread they are eating the literal body of Christ! "Once for all" and "the sinners prayer", therefore do not come together in Alpha and so a numbers of ways for salvation is advocated. Gumbell has admitted that he has carefully scripted the course to enable the course to be used by Catholics and so teaching on communion and baptism is left out, and so the "new converts" are converted into a new multi faith style Christianity that goes about not upsetting people. Very different to the life of Jesus!

This is why our ministry refuses to be part of this "new wave" move with its "bringing together" organizations like FGBMFI, Churches Together and the Evangelical Alliance.

Luke 12: 49 I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled?

Despite majoring on the Holy Spirit, the conviction of the Spirit is never mentioned in Alpha. Repentance is just mentioned but not as a major issue as in Jesus ministry and the ministry of my mission hall days. I wonder if there are any real "born again" Christians left as the major part of Evangelical Pentecostal movements has been stolen away. Ask yourself - where are the changed lives? Where are the testimonies of withdrawal from the World? Gone - because this Alpha course allows you to say a prayer, "receive the spirit" and continue your life in the world because the student has not come under the Holy Ghost's conviction power and on top of all of this the student is recommended to use a Gnostic Bible!

The British publication, The Christian Research Network Journal, has scrutinized the Alpha program and come up with six major criticisms. The Journal says the Alpha Course is: "massively over-hyped and spiritually deceptive ... with its wholly inadequate view of Christian conversion and experience."

1. The God of Alpha is not the God of the Bible. ... it does not present us with the God who has revealed Himself in the Bible. ... It simply fails to tell us anything we need to know about God.

2. The plight of man in Alpha is not as serious as in the Bible. ... Alpha does not use strong terms and leaves us rather unclear about where we stand. As one follows its argument, sin is more to be seen in the way we have 'messed up our lives.'... For all the gravity of sin, Alpha never allows us to feel too bad about ourselves. It never permits us to see ourselves in God's sight. That is a big omission.

3. The Jesus Christ of Alpha is not the Jesus Christ of the Bible. ... despite having part of the course titled 'Why did Jesus die?', it is unable in the final analysis to answer this question. ...

4. The love of God in Alpha is not the love of God of the Bible. ... The God of the Bible is love but it is love that is seen in His willingness to save sinners. ... without the context of God's holiness and absolute perfection, the meaning of love is lost to us. ...

5. The Holy Spirit of Alpha is not the Holy Spirit of the Bible. ... Alpha's 'Spirit' appears to work in ways that lie outside the confines of Scripture. Whoever it is that people are 'introduced' to at the Alpha Weekend, it is not the Holy Spirit. But who ever this mysterious guest is, he is equally at home with the ecstatic gatherings of New Age enthusiasts and non-Christian religions alike.

6. Conversions in Alpha are not like the conversions in the Bible. ... More often than not it is an emotional experience about the love of God but without any understanding of holiness or the need to be saved from our sins. ... For all its efforts, Alpha does not help us to know God. It does not describe the true and living God for us. It does not diagnose man's condition accurately enough. ... it is unable to supply us with the 'good news'."

Alpha is just new window dressing on the old "Holy Ghost bartender" theme, the Toronto theme and the Brownsville reruns. It could be retitled "Steps to Frenzy" or "Finding God in My Feelings", or "Letting Out the Animal Inside." The result is not unlike the old Esalen groups, primal scream therapy or the lunacy of a drug experience."

Nicky Gumbell regards Alpha as a new approach for a post Christian age. God's approach has not changed, however, for His Spirit still convicts of sin, the only way to be "born again".

3) What should be happening?

(1)People will pray to the Father in the Name of Jesus, & talk to Jesus in a 1:1 relationship, who intercedes to the Father as the Spirit intercedes. And this intercession will be in line with the Spirit & the Son interceding to the Father [Romans 8].

(2) Allprophecy given will be in line with I Corinthians 14: edification, exhortation& comfort.

(3)The Holy Ghost coming upon a person will be in line with Acts 1:8 - empowered for ministry, & Acts 10:38; & I John 4:17.

(4)In meetings, there will be conviction of sin; the word 'sanctification' commonly used; testimonies of the world being removed from people's lives will be common; an absolute passion to study the Word daily, & continue on the road to holiness.

(6)Laying on of hands will be in line of bringing healing & deliverance to others.

(7)There will be no emphasis of self-gratification, but a yearning desire to pass the Holy Spirit on: in effect, to lose the Spirit as Jesus lost virtue with the woman with the issue of blood.

(8)Overwhelming yearning to be led daily by the Spirit of God [Romans 8]. This yearning does not give any heed to one's own life.

(9)The changed individual will not have to come up continuously for prayer at meetings, because the individual would have studied the Word day by day, & the truth will have set them free.

(10)They will know the power of the blood, & will not give heed to Bible translations that have removed the blood.

(11)They will recognise true ministers of God's Word, who plunge the powers of darkness with the true sword of the Spirit, rather than those who give homilies to make them feel good.

(12)A true minister will not be concerned over a decline in numbers: rather, he will be concerned about a decline in morality. They will recognise the true move of the Spirit at this time, which is a separation between those of the true Word, & those of the false.

(13)Secret societies that have infiltrated the Church will be exposed for what they are. The power of the Spirit overwhelming a person will always relate to a determination to witness the power of God.

14)The person will always talk about the Word of God, not the experience, for from the Word emanates the power to be witnesses.

"Had what you see today been a true move of the Holy Ghost, you would have seen colleges full of people studying the blood-bought Word; you would have seen prayer meetings & Bible studies full; intellectual debate would have been brought to naught. Instead, you would have witnessed a dying to self before the Father, & an overwhelming desire to fulfil the Father's will, fulfilment of the Father's will being a condition for healing & deliverance.

"There will be huge respect for those who minister the Word of God. Preachers of the true blood-bought Word of God will be wealthy: not for self-gratification, but for establishing the Word of God [Deut.8:18]. Prosperity will be linked to obedience [Job 36:11], & prosperity & health will be linked to the ability to proclaim the Gospel [III John:2]. Because where it says that 'above all things, you prosper & be in health,' the 'you' is the person who has died to the things of this world, for his prosperity is in the context of walking in the heavenly places with Christ Jesus [Ephesians 1&2].

What you see in the Authorised Version is the gospel: the one martyrs gave their lives for, & its through the blood of My sacrifice men & women are saved, delivered, set free - not as a continuous process, but as an immediate process of regeneration in line with the submission level of the individual."
