My father (William Griffiths) was a missionary here with Clifford Gay during the 1930’s and so it is wonderful to hear of Pastor Dennis’s vision and heart in continuing the expansion of the Gospel here.

Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, I am glad to receive your mail, is great that you knows about Cape Verde. There is a need there now.
I have the grace and calling of God to help lives discover their purpose of existence through God's word of faith. And immediately I came to Cape Verde, I started the work God led in my heart through outreaches, seminars and rehabilitation of new converts. I have already planted a fast growing church in Bela Vista, Mindelo with the name LIFE EMPOWERMENT MINISTRIES, with the vision of giving life the full meaning (John 10 vs 10, Psalms 139 vs 14) and God is confirming His word with signs and wonders.
We have a focus, commitment to God's calling. And we have been pursuing that Vision and believing in raising men and Women to the glory of God. I will like my church to be in Partnership with your Ministry so that we can be able to reach out to the people of this Cape Verde and other African countries.

Greeting in the mighty name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
I am glad to speak with you some minutes ago today, Sunday 19th of March 2006 from Cape Verde Africa.
"But when He saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion for them because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd, then He said to His disciples , the harvest is plentiful but the labourers are few, therefore pray the lord of the harvest to send out labourers into His harvest"-- (Matthew 9 : 36--38 ).
The situation in Africa and beyond is the exact picture of the scripture above. People here are harassed by the influence of culture and tradition that makes life to be miserable with sickness and poverty. Equally due to the influence of the wicked spirit in charge of the island, people live under the pressure of immorality.
 Five years ago, the lord placed burden in my heart to reach the unreached of the island with the Good news of the gospel of our lord Jesus Christ through the word of faith as to restore back their colourful destiny in Jesus Christ., To empower and give lives the full meaning, prepared for heaven and fulfill purpose on earth. Salvation and liberation has been my focus.
I have already started the Lord's work in Cape Verde (made of 8 islands), in Sao Vicente as one of the islands.

Greetings in the name of Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ! We had a wonderful moments in the Lord's presence today and I believe you too!.
I bless the name of our God for your father's commitments and dedication to the Lord's work even as far back as 1936.
Yet greater anointing in you for more exploit in the kingdom of God today. It's encouraging to read the mail of your Auntie to inspire your father for the work. I found confident and challenge reading such mail Your father was a missionary here in Cape Verde, and among other missionaries have laid a foundation here and we got to continue the work of building lives in Jesus Christ as we prepare for the lord's coming.
Recently we had good testimonies of drug addict and hemp smokers delivered and gave their lives to Christ in our outreaches. Cape Verde is a country comprising 10 islands and 8 islands is inhabitable while the remaining 2 islands is so small to be inhabited. Yes the country is Christian nation but lack the life Jesus Christ in their lives. No rooted knowledge of the word of God. Agreed it is peaceful nation by nature of not having any Muslim (Islamic) part. The nation is highly engulfed with spirit of immorality, as Government spend millions of dollar to sponsor national festivals like carnival, visiting and dancing near the sea at night at Biaya, thereby promoting Satan work of immorality, life abuse and lost of focus in people’s lives. 70 to 85 percent of childbirth is out wedlock. And at end of every carnival, lives are lost to hell. To my understanding, no great Evangelist from outside has yet visited the country for crusade. I believe that time for revival and spiritual refreshing has come for the Island and we are glad to be part of the instrument for this move of God.
