What is your experience of “Church”?

Was my wife’s word of knowledge about a “respectable on a Sunday” Scottish preacher found in adultery a “whim” or a fact?

Have we really experienced over a million pounds stolen from our ministry through association with Jezebel “Christians” in U.K.?

Is it true to say that we have only experienced (with the rare exception) agape love from our African and Asian fellow sons?

Is it true to say that the “Higher Criticism” beliefs of Manchester University’s Professor Peake have stolen our Bible Colleges?

Introduction:

Erroneous views about Jezebel:

1. Jezebel is a feminine spirit
2. Jezebel works mainly among women.

The truth is that the Jezebel spirit is a-sexual (as angels are).

Warning! Be careful not to entertain the Jezebel spirit – but we (being real Christians of the Word) are not to be afraid of it. We are a holy people, i.e. separated from the world, & separated unto God.

Who is Jezebel?

Jezebel is an ex-angel, which fell & became what is known as Satan (Greek ‘diabolos’) which means ‘the adversary’.

Wants to counterfeit God; therefore he performs miracles etc. in the devilish realm. But he can not: (1) forgive sins; (2) give us eternal life.

God is a trinity, i.e. one God in three persons – but God does not have names. He refers to himself as (Greek) ego eimi = I AM. The devil imitates this by choosing 3 persons = an evil trinity: JEZEBEL; ANTICHRIST; DEATH & HELL. These are the opposites of: God the Father; God the Son; God the Holy Spirit, which gives life. Therefore these three separate evil spirits are the unholy trinity. They will eventually come down to earth to rule the three Babylons:

• The religious Babylon
• The commercial Babylon
• The political Babylon

These rulers will be the three ‘antichrists’ of the last days. [see Suresh’s book on Revelation]

Scripture reference: Ephesians 6:12 “For we wrestle not against flesh & blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Note: these three spirits (of the unholy trinity) do not come to fight against us Christians – they are clever enough to know that they cannot do that! – they come to deceive us! The small devils come to fight us. The hierarchy in Ephesians 6:12 is as follows:

1. Jezebel + Antichrist + Death & Hell
2. Principalities
3. Powers
4. Spiritual Wickedness in Heavenly Places

Therefore, in Sri Lanka & India, where people are very poor, into idolatry, & sometimes illiterate, the devil uses small demons against them. Satan will send “rulers of darkness” against more difficult cases; then, “powers.” If he cannot achieve his objectives through them, the “principalities” will come. NB Ezekiel 28 says that Satan was full of wisdom.

So, in the early days of our Christian walk, it is easier – later, the attacks will seem more severe, & you think you are losing power. When the attacks escalate as you grow, just ask the Lord for more powerful weapons! Either you can be downhearted & run away – or you can say “Praise the Lord! I’ve chucked out the small devils – now for greater enemies!” We must understand spiritual warfare – see Ephesians 6:12.

The name “Jezebel”

We first encounter this spirit in Ahab’s wife “Jezebel.” See Ezekiel 28 – God spoke to Ezekiel about the King of Tyre (the most evil ruler at that time). In Daniel’s case, the angel told him he had to fight the “Prince of Persia.” If it had been in 1941, he would have said “Hitler withstood me”; in the 1970’s it would have been Idi Amin; etc.

Etymology of the name “Jezebel”

Phoenician name with four meanings.
