Overseeing twenty churches in four African nations Pastor Barrack Okiro also has a burden of God to bless the U.K.
God has given this extraordinary minister of the Gospel a vision to preach door to door, village to village, city to city and nation to nation and within this context Minister Okiro has established churches, appointed pastors and elders acting as an Apostolic overseer encouraging the churches and providing practical support.
With a call from God to move out from pastoring a Pentecostal church so as to reach out to the people of rural Kenya, Pastor Barrack witnessed in the first village visited a hundred people being saved, miracles of healing and deliverance confirming the Word God had given him. The new believers were baptized and a Pastor with elders were appointed.
 By January 2005, twenty churches had been planted in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Burundi, members from these churches being encouraged to adopt AIDS orphans – although the need seems greater than what finances can allow – but the Gospel has to be preached – for with the Gospel – comes all the answers.
I met Pastor Barrack for the first time in London during June 2006. I was impressed with Pastor Barrack’s heart to stand with us as we look to overcome the U.K.’s intellectual barriers even coming now through Pentecostal/Charismatic churches. I believe God is raising up African and Asians to bring their heart faith to our nation and that Pastor Barrack is one of those Champions of Faith who will bring change to Great Britain.
